and by that, i mean i re-synced up my lastfm with my itunes so i’m SCROBB-A-LING again. that sentence would’ve looked fucking ridiculous no more than 10 years ago. maybe it’ll automatically post my weekly listening like it used to, or maybe it won’t.
here’s my page, add me if you’re on there. i’ve definitely listened to a lot more than siriusmo since january….although i did go old school and put on some siriusmo last night on my way home from blazer tag.
just one more time now, to make sure you’re with me, the horse i was referring to was lastfm scrobbling. yeah.

had no idea that yukimi was part of koop, how awesome. koop are a swedish duo (ahhh i should’ve known, that’s the connection right there) who specialize in chilled out electronica breaks, the sleepy side of acid jazz, and her speciality involves singing over beats exactly of that sort. also cool that she worked with ge-ology, one of his tracks is currently my ringtone actually. i see that her tracks with gorillaz were excluded, i suppose their superstar status doesn’t necessarily entail ‘empire ants’ or ‘to binge’ being obligatory selections though, as beloved as those songs may be to some. this is some mellow stuff to enjoy on your night off, however that concept may present itself.
this bbc news article is about tropical storm debby and its impact on floridians. the thing i thought was funny was the picture of the state, with a bunch of cities labeled. miami is the southernmost of the cities. but why would they possibly choose those cities shown on the map?? mexico beach? cedar key? i went to school at fsu, something like an hour from where each of those places seem to be, but i haven’t heard of either. englewood, instead of tampa or orlando? there are around 4 million people living around tampa bay, and i just looked up englewood and there are 10,000. did they just pick arbitrary places?
if you’re not from florida this probably means nothing to you.
