You have to go and see ISAM somehow, most mind blowing visuals I can remember seeing at any gig, video/tv can’t do it justice

so extremely grateful for this live coachella stream on youtube right now →
currently, bon iver sounds amazing, much more orchestrated and with a much more impressive stage presence than when i saw him at bonnaroo in 2009. later on tonight is SBTRKT and then RADIOHEAD at 1:05 CST. i just watched andrew bird and st. vincent back-to-back before this, OH MY GOD. they should both be household names, astonishingly talented with brilliantly constructed songs and mesmerizing stage shows. st. vincent is WAY more of a badass than i had realized, dragging out a stage dive for several minutes while not missing a single line of her song, and andrew bird is a virtuoso playing with an incredibly capable backup band headed by drummer/multi-instrumentalist martin dosh.
simultaneously watched the black keys, explosions in the sky, and jimmy cliff last night. i was impressed by cliff at sxsw but he was truly on another level at coachella, running around the stage, kicking in the air, and performing in a manner that doesn’t typically befit a 64 year old who’s been performing for just about 50 years. literally more energy than any other performer i’ve seen at the fest. gary clark jr. was great and is seemingly everywhere now. some girl he used to be with when he was in austin more often is going out with my roommate tomorrow night. that was the first thing my roommate told me today. amon tobin and his ISAM show are collectively are the most technologically mind-boggling live show i’ve ever seen……on film. certainly a persuasive argument to make it to bisco ‘12…..oh wait no i’m going to be in fucking israel at the time, damn, pretty wild too. his set going cut off early for some terribly unfortunate reason. but anyway, COACHELLA, what’s up. really gets me excited for bonnaroo this summer. really giving thought to waka too.
