NEW ANIMAL COLLECTIVE! →
literally listening to this when i saw it posted — two new tracks from the nation’s top hyperactive psych folk ensemble. perhaps animal collective will wind up remembered as the peak of impressionism within our generation’s music scene. these sound great…if i continue being as impressed as i currently am, ‘honeycomb’ and ‘gotham’ will probably appear on my blog again sometime in the near future. there’s so much depth and detail here, it’s already clear that fully uncovering either of the tracks will take at least five close listens.
