…..so that’s neat. pretty interesting development considering my life back when i started this blog. they’re called pi (or, perhaps are simply the symbol for pi?) are based 20 minutes south of austin in san marcos, and are a bluesy psych rock trio along the same lines as radio moscow. definitely a strong tame impala influence, as evidenced by their (more than respectable) cover of ‘half full glass of wine.’ they’ll be playing around seven pm in my backyard. 

this whole situation was organized after sean, the drummer, oh and an excellent blogger as well, sent me a message on here asking about helping them book a show in austin, or potentially getting together a party for a house show. i thought the second idea sounded intriguing….and here we are today. if you live in the area and feel like checking it out, send me a message and i’ll give you more details. unless your site totally sucks. haha…..in which case, you can’t come, and my heart does truly go out to you, but i promise to gladly provide constructive criticism and get you on the right path sometime soon.
