one of the highlights off ghostly international’s formidable lineup of electronic fusion all-stars, shigeto (aka zach saginaw) displays his full breadth of versatility here, excelling in the simultaneous roles of drummer, producer, and live beatmaker. labelmate tycho’s original ‘adrift’ track can be heard here, and you can check out the studio version of shigeto’s ‘adrift a dream’ re-interpretation right here. i’ve really enjoyed shigeto’s music for a while, but his live performances grant his music entirely new meaning, exploding in front of your eyes with boundless energy and power.
