don’t actually know the song title, but someone on youtube suggested that it’s called ‘music;’ perhaps just trying to make a point? i have no way of knowing, i suppose….it does certainly sound as if he’s saying ‘music’ at times. details aside, the tune is pretty fantastic, with the kaleidoscopic video only heightening the aesthetic pleasantries. it sounds like of montreal moved to japan for a few years and mellowed out. the funk slapped bass that accompanies the long vocal tones sounds great on some proper speakers, and it features almost more prominently than the periodically syncopated guitar chords and sporadic interjections from the snare drum.
